What are the difference between waterproof IP65, IP67 and IP68 ?
1:Non-waterproof LED Strip:Â PCB (Printed Circuit Board) with 3M self-adhesive back.--(For Indoor).
2:Waterproof LED Strip--Surface Injection  IP65: PCB surface is encapsulated with plastic Gel, with self-adhesive 3M back, --(For Outdoor & Indoor).
3:Waterproof LED Strip--Silicon Tube IP67:Â PCB is encapsulated with silicon tube, with plastic fastener, better waterproof, --(For Outdoor).
4:Waterproof LED Strip--Whole Injection IP68:Â PCB both surface and back are encapsulated with plastic Gel, with plastic fastener, top level of waterproof, --(For Outdoor).
Cutting and Soldering:
We currently offer free cutting and soldering on all LED Strip Lights. If you require cuts, let us know. Send us your meaurements using the 'specific requirements' box above or by contacting us directly.
Please note: Unless otherwise stated, all LED Strip Lights will be supplied in one continuous length. For example, an order for 3 metres will be supplied as one length and not as 3 separate 1 metre lengths. Also, if you have ordered more than 5m and have not specified any cuts, we will send your order in 5m rolls and parts there of. For example, an order for 20 metres will be supplied as four 5m rolls.Â
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on made-to-measure items.
Aluminium Profiles:
To maintain the life and high efficiency of the LEDs the LED Strips should be mounted directly onto a heat conducting surface, such as aluminium, to dissipate heat. LEDs don't produce much heat compared to traditional lighting, but the heat produced needs to be managed, or the LEDs may overheat and be damaged with loss of light output. We recommend aluminium profiles to dissipate the heat. Â
